Bunaíodh Comharchumann Forbartha an Leith Triúigh Teo, mar chomharchumann forbartha i 1973 agus é mar phríomhaidhm ná forbairt a dhéanamh ar acmhainní an cheantair agus cur chun cinn cúrsaí eacnamaíochta, sóisialta agus cultúrtha. Tá páirt lárnach ghníomhach glactha ag an gComharchumann i bhforbairt iomlán an cheantair ó shin i leith agus aithnítear é go forleathan mar imreoir tábhachtach forbartha.

Forbartha an Leith Triúigh Teoranta was founded as a co-operative company in 1973 with the primary aim of putting in place facilities and amenities in the local area of Cloghane and Brandon in order to develop a secure economic, social and cultural future for the region. Comharchumann Forbartha an Leith Triúigh Teoranta has played a pivotal role in the development of the area ever since and is widely-recognised as an important local resource.

Mission Statement:

In considering CFLT’s role in “sustaining social and economic life” for the Cloghane/Brandon community the Coiste developed a clear statement of its role and incorporated it in a “Mission Statement” as follows:

To provide the facilities, amenities and leadership required to assist our community in developing a Social, Economic, Cultural and Environmentally Sustainable future for our region.

In the context of “leadership”, CFLT’s primary role is that of supporting those within the community prepared to initiate projects and activities in support of its Mission, but not necessarily that of leading people within the community itself.

“Ard Chaighdeán i bhforbairt eacnamaíochta, chultúra, sóisialta agus oideachais a bhaint amach do phobal Chlocháin Bréanainn“

The offices of the Comharchumman are located at Halla le Chéile, situated between the villages of Cloghane and Brandon.
